The Fireweed Immigration Team
Three passionate professionals shaping our story together
Kenrick Stewart, RCIC-IRB
Kenrick brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to immigration consulting. As an immigrant himself, he understands firsthand the challenges, hopes, and uncertainties that come with building a new life in a new country. His personal immigration journey informs his compassionate, client-centered approach to every case. He knows what it means to navigate an unfamiliar system, and he is committed to making that journey clearer and more manageable for others.
In addition to being a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, Kenrick holds impressive academic credentials that strengthen his practice: a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen's University, a Master of Education specializing in Adult, Community & Higher Education from the University of Alberta, and a Master of Science in Tourism and Hospitality Management. This diverse educational background, combined with professional experience as an immigration assistant, university educator, academic administrator, and supervisory patient support roles with Alberta Health Services, enables him to serve clients with both technical expertise and genuine empathy.
Kenrick is deeply committed to providing honest, ethical, and transparent immigration advice. He believes that every client's story is unique and deserves personalized attention that reflects their individual goals and circumstances. Whether clients are seeking temporary residence, permanent immigration, or Canadian citizenship, Kenrick works to ensure they have the information and support needed to make informed decisions about their future.
At Fireweed Immigration, Kenrick is honoured to build meaningful relationships with clients from around the world and to support them on their journey to becoming part of Canada's diverse and vibrant community.
Leendert (Lee) Solotki
Lee is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant who brings a highly analytical, big-picture approach to immigration consulting, informed by diverse international experience and academic training in philosophy. Born and raised in Edmonton to a family with Dutch and Ukrainian roots, Lee has a personal connection to Canada's immigration story. His path to immigration law has been shaped by years spent living, studying, and working abroad, including two years teaching English in Spain and extensive travel in Latin America, experiences that cultivated both love of the Spanish language and his deep appreciation for the complexities individuals face when navigating immigration systems in unfamiliar cultural and legal contexts.
Lee's decision to pursue immigration consulting was inspired by close immigrant friends navigating their own journeys to Canada, and by recognizing how his skills and interests could meaningfully support others through what is often a challenging and uncertain process. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta, a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Katholieke Universieit Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium, and a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen's University. His philosophical background strengthens his ability to analyze complex cases, identify underlying issues, and develop strategic approaches tailored to each client's unique circumstances. As a member of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), Lee is committed to providing ethical, evidence-based guidance across all areas of Canadian immigration, with particular interest in refugee protection and family class matters.
Beyond his immigration practice, Lee is passionate about integrating technology into client service delivery, working to build accessible, efficient systems that improve the immigration consulting experience. He oversees Fireweed Immigration's digital infrastructure and is committed to ensuring the firm stays at the forefront of technological innovation while maintaining the personal, compassionate service that immigration matters demand.
Lee is proud to be able to serve clients English, Spanish, and French, offering professional guidance grounded in both technical expertise and an understanding of what it means to build a life across borders.
